Доход на душу населения
Валовый национальный продукт в расчете на одного человека. Показатель дохода на душу населения дает более четкое представление об уровне жизни в стране по сравнению с показателем ВНП в абсолютном выражении. Рассмотрим таблицу.
Из таблицы видно, что несмотря на более высокий уровень ВНП США в абсолютном выражении по сравнению с ВНП Японии, доход на душу населения существенно выше в Японии. Однако этот показатель небезупречен, т.к. распределение национального дохода неравномерно, и реальное качество жизни разных категорий граждан неравнозначно. См. Personal distribution of income.
